‘The Power of RNA-seq’ is a co-organised course of the Wageningen UR Bioinformatics lab and NBIC for the graduate school for Experimental Plant Sciences (EPS) and is open for other participants as well.
This three-day introductory course will start on December 16th 2013 in Wageningen. Topic is the whole (analysis) pipeline of an RNA-seq experiment starting with experimental design and sampling, raw data QC, mapping, differential expression and downstream applications. An important part of this course are extensive hands-on computer practicals in the statistical language ‘R’ and in Galaxy. We focus on plant and animal datasets and examples but methods and tools are applicable in other domains as well.
